Hello everyone,
I have a 61 navigator that is being rebuilt, when stripping the bike down most of the bolts have been replaced with random bolts from who knows where?
I know I can purchase spares from here, but my problem is that I don't have any reference points for which bolts I need.
I have an exploded diagram from an old manual that refers to a parts list which I don't have and can not find online.
Basically I am asking for help with putting together an order list of all the nuts, bolts and spacers for rebuilding the frame and swing arm?
thank you in advance
Jamie

Hi Jamie
the parts book is available from the club spares under miscellaneous I think for £10. The club sells the spacers and engine mounting bolts etc the rest are a frustrating mix of assorted threads! I found getting a mixed badge of cycle thread nuts and bolts was very useful!

Thank you for the quick reply,
does the parts book relate to the spares list with a diagram etc and the assorted nuts and bolts you got, where did you pick them up from?
thank you

Yes the parts book has som…
Yes the parts book has some exploded diagrams. There is also a wealth of info on here, it's worth doing a search as most questions have been asked before. Rgm and norvil also have on line spares lists but their coverage of lightweights is limited. For cycle parts most are split between the standard and deluxe (bath tub type) and early and late when referring to the engine.... although that's a bit simplistic.
I got my nuts and bolts from an auto jumble. Cycle threads are generally a bit more than bsf and bsw etc which prob sell better. You can buy them on eBay
