Mystery Kickstart..............at least to me

Forums

The pictured kickstart lever came with a mess of parts I "inherited". I've never seen one quite like it but I'm sure one our our comrades has.

If The splines are Norton it could be 500T. A pity it is not this side of the Atlantic as I would have taken a punt on it!

Hi Michael, It is indeed a 500T Kickstart.

I have been searching for one for quite a while now. Would you be interested in parting with it? I would be very grateful!

Best wishes,

Alan

Compared to some of the reverse engineering I have done for aero engines and pre-war cars that looks a really easy thing to make. If none of you that own these have the ability to do so I'd be prepared to sort out a little run of them if there is sufficient demand for say 10 and if someone would lend me one as a pattern.
