Mudguard Bracket

Forums

Hi just wondering on my 56 .19s, should there be a bracket inbetween the rear mudguard and the frame mount or does the mudguard just simply bolt to the frame mounting holes.

thanks Barry

Barry, your guard should bolt directly to the 2 vertical "ears" on the cross-brace between the 2 swing arm pivots.

I agree but shouldn't there be a spacer each side?

Nigel, do you mean the spacers between the mudguard and the upper suspension unit mounts? Barry's photo indicated the lower mudguard mount, as far as I know there are no spacers in that area.

Ian, I meant the swing arm area. Mine had spacers at that point between the mudguard and bracket. I'm Currently restoring it so i will see if the mudguard will fit without.
