Motorcycle lift

I just wanted to thank those who had responded to my query re motorcycle lifts. In the end I did not buy any of those suggested but one which had the good features you suggested. In particular the one I chose - SAL Easylifts model LL454 - seemed to have the best arrangement for dropping out the rear wheel. It does not have a wooden bench surface but I reckoned I could put on some plywood later if I wished. Fairly expensive (£445 inc delivery) but so far very good.

I've had an LL Easylift for a few years and wouldn't be without it. I haven't felt the need for a wooden surface.

It's not exactly light weight, but the guy from Easylifts that delivered it carried it in its wooden packing case down my drive single handed. I couldn't believe my eyes!
