Monobloc throttle stop

My ES2 is fitted with a Monobloc although should "really" have a stub fitting 276. I do like the monobloc but miss the "easy start" facility fitted to earlier Norton carbs as I like a slow tickover and if I set this when the engine is warm it tends to die at idle when still cold. So I set to and made one - all materials from my extensive scrap boxes! I've just tried it out and it seems to work well. I originally fitted a short clamping screw but found the extended one useful for adjusting the speed - original versions had a tommy bar arrangement. The only slight snag is that this limits rotation to about 180 degrees but I think it's enough.

I use extended throttle stop screws for all my BSA Singles, easily turned in for easy starting and then screwed out for proper tickover with a gloved hand as I stop by the gate. No need to guess the correct throttle opening, just leave the throttle alone and the stop turned in 1 to 1.5 turns is just right.
