Model 7 oil pressure gauge face

Forums

Dear all,

The oil pressure gauge (Smiths Eureka) on my Model 7 sits in the petrol tank. Its dial has visibly been painted in black and yellow..

How do you open the oil pressure gauge without breaking its glass and ring?

What should be the graduation of oil pressure and colors of the face and needle of the gauge ?

A picture of an untouched pressure gauge could help.
