Model 18 valve lifter picture needed

Hi, I have a early 31 model 18 engine that needs a valve lifter. I could with a picture of what this part looks like if anyone has one so I know what to look for at jumbles. Enclosed is a pic of the top of my engine. Many thanks Dave Email:- ilyragdave@gmail.com">oilyragdave@gmail.com

That looks very very close to what I have, do you by any chance have a pic from the other side or from the top down? I may need to make something. Thanks Dave

Unfortunately not, I only found that picture by accident after reading your post. I have a '49 Model 18 and your valve lifter looks quite different. Paul Norman could probably give you some advice, although he's a OHC experthe might know what would workeven if it wasn't original.
