Hello NOC.
I am a new member and am hoping some folks more seasoned can lend a hand with questions re a Norton N15CS I am trying to restore. With Frame and Engine Number - N 15 C S / 123943, the Basic Factory Record Check shows: âThe records for Norton N15CS 123943 show it dates from 16th July 1969 and was shipped new to the Norton Villiers Corporation of Seattleâ.
Reading the site under History, Atlas Hybrids 1 & 2, it appears that the last of these hybrids were produced in 1967 but some were sold later, so I am assuming this bike is one of them.
The bike currently has some Suzuki parts installed - front end, front and rear disc brakes, gauges, and maybe rear shocks and handlebars? - otherwise the bike looks ok with (original) forks, wheels, anda few other bits in a crate.
I am trying to determine the actual year of this bike and get the original specs and some photos so I can sort out whatâs missing or incorrect, and fix it. Any help, thoughts, and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
JG

John: it looks like the Suzuki forks are longer than the originals, hence having to place a block of wood undet the sidestand.. How does it ride? Fork action OK? You can always go back to stock but you will lose the disc brake. Your choice.

Hi Mike -
Have goy the bike running (just today)but not rideable at the moment. No brakes. Planning to put everything back to stock and sell off Suzuki parts. I think handlebars are wrong and need clutch/brake levers, so I need to start sourcing parts somewhere.
Thanks
