Hello from Germany

Hi All,

Just a quick post to introduce myself. I am the owner of a silver Cafe Racer which I bought in August 2012. I have the fortune to now live in the Harz mountains (only big hills really)in Germany -a bikers paradise, and sofar I have experienced the highs and lows of Norton ownership. I look forward to exchanging experiences with you all.

Hi Terry

I guess by this you mean you are waiting for your bike. It seems to methat both you and Lee are going to find this winter drags on a bit longer than usual, but rest assuredMarch will comearoundafter February as is the normand with it your bikes.laughThey are well worth waiting for.I hope you have some good weather in the uk when they turn up becausethere is nothing worse than having something new in the garage and not being able to use it - I speak from experience!

I sympathise with you there Frederick, I had hoped to go to TT2012 on mine, flights were booked to the UK etc, only to be told it wouldn't be ready in time, I ended up going on my Triumph.Don't cancel it's worth the wait and there is always TT2015. If all pans out ok and it arrives in time I might bump into you, my ferry is already booked. As for the lack of contact from the factory I don't think that is anything out of the ordinary, I certainly had the same experience, andin my opinion they have, in that respect, no conception of what good customer care is.
