I have a ES2 1961 with a hebo hydraulic clutch cable it is realy great . Does anyone know who can supply another one I would like to get one for my other bikes in the future hopefully a 650ss when i get one.

Have you tried Googling Hebo hydraulic clutch?? TBH, a well set-up AMC clutch should have a very light action anyway. I should wait until you get your 650SS, set the clutch up properly, and you should be able to save your money.

Thank you Ian for your advice . Never had a hydraulic cable before and find it very good, the bike came with it. Have not had a modern system before and have a T120 Bonnie 1968 and it requires brute force . Hope to sell the Bonnie and Triton and get a 650ss to compliment the ES2

Hi John

I believe Venhill can supplier botha Hebo hydraulic clutch conversion and a more sophisticated Magura version.

I have a 650ss with very light clutch actionbut it is very important to have the correct 7/8 in pivot lever.

Cheers

I purchased a restored 1956 Triumph T110 fairly recently, but the clutch action was stiff and heavy, unacceptably so. I removed the lever and cable, greased the pivots, oiled the cable and hey presto! a lovely light clutch action. It had been assembled dry by the restorer, an easy oversight, but I was amazed by the transformation, courtesy of a bit of oil and grease. I would oil nylon-lined cables, too. I prefer to stick to what was on the bike originally wherever possible.
