I have a couple of heavily pitted frames, (one model 18 and one Red Panther). The cast lugs arent too bad and are probably useable, but the frame tubes are badly pitted). Any one here have any experience of replacing frame tubes, companies, methods, materials etc.

I got the badly corroded lower rails on my Dommie replaced by Dave Degens.....not cheap at £300. Plus 2 lengthy trips to deliver and collect. I chose him because of the name and reputation. There might be cheaper options around. Check out Old Bike Mart.
