Hi All,

Not too sure what engine i have in a cafe racer i recently purchased.

The log book states 20/119583/1

745cc

I got the magnifying glass out and the 0 looks like a C maybe not hit hard enough at the factory. On the cylinder barrel what i can make out the numbers are 063850 if thats any more help.

On the cylinder barrel what i can make out the numbers are 063850 if thats any more help

063850 is the casting and part number for the 850 barrel.

24237was the casting number for the750 Commando barrel.

However...........some 850 barrels were machined to 750 piston size. The 063850 barrel has no side flange at the bottom.
