Hi to all - I have recently rejoined after a a few years away . I am across the pond as may be assumed by the spelling of " tire ". I am curious as to what pressures are commonly used for Dunlop K 70 - 3.25 x 19 - current Japanese manufacture tube type. Bike is 1950 ES 2 plunger chassis- rider ( me ) 160 lbs. max pressure stated on tire is 33 psi. I have been running at that . Any input would be most welcome - Thanks Gents ! Richard

Modern tyres do need higher pressures than the ones referred to in period handbooks as they are more compliant. 25 front 28 rear is usually a good starting point.

33 psi is probably a bit on the high side. The book pressures for a swinging arm ES2 are 25 front (3:00 x 19) and 22 rear (3:50 x 19). Most people these days run a few psi higher than book pressures. For a 3:25 front I would suggest 25 psi is fine.
