The first owner of a 1971 Commando ELP709J is hoping to trace it. He would like to speak to the current owner etc. I am uncertain if he wants to try and buy it incidentally. It is currently on the DVLA computer and is taxed, MOT'dand insured. Does anybody know its whereabouts, or can they get the current owner to contact me on here please. Oh yes nearly forgot.....it isn't me that wants to speak to the CO. Thanks everybody in advance.

yes i know the whereabouts of this bike what is it you would like to know..

David, thank you very much for your reply, it is very kind if you to have taken the time and trouble. As far as I know the original owner probably just wants to speak to the current owner and maybe get to see the bike. Howevr in order to clarify this I have asked him to call me to let me know precisely what he wants to achieve, and I will let you know before we/you progress any further. Hi David, I have spoken to my contact, Tom, who was the very first owner of the Commando ELP709J.

He has no ulterior motive except to perhaps know where the bike is, speak possibly to the owner, see the bike if that is possible(Tom lives in Leicestershire) and if the current owner wants them, Tom has photos taken of the bike when he owned it back in the '70s. I guess you might have to forgive anybody in the pictures for their haircuts, LOL.
