bikes in Forum header

Forums

I just had a look at the Forum, and there's my bike in the header!  It's the pale bluish silver 1955 Dominator, photo taken at the Essex rally in August.

Hi Paul,

We hired a professional photographer for the Norton Day at Maldon – the photos were also used in the article about the club published in the latest Classic Bike.

I picked six out of the several hundred images for the new look web site.

Its my intent to refresh the images every month with new ones.

Regards – Paul.

Hi Paul,

I, like others, appreciate the time and ability you put in to running this site, but I think it was only needing some of the niggles sorting out. The photos used in the header are clearly the work of a professional photographer with an artistic aspect required for advertising and promotion. Unfortunately they don't work for me as when I look at any photo of a bike, I am trying to gain as much visual information as possible. This made the photos from the members gallery of more interest to me. The prospect of looking at only 6 photos, 2 of which are only petrol tanks, for 30 continuous days is, at best, daunting. Is there a possibilty of more photos or changing the set more frequently ?

I would have imagined that the photographs were taken somewhere in the North-West as the only two bikes  showing registrations are carrying Blackpool and Blackburn plates.

the header pictures.  It's nice to see a variety of bikes up there, but they scoot away while you are looking at them.  It would be great to be able to access a photo library, with some information about the bike.

BTW the picture of my bike was definitely taken at Maldon on the Norton Day in August.

Here, here, I have often looked at the header picies and wanted a 'stop' button to study what is shown/or not. But it does not exist, although the picture we used to see are in the member's Gallery some where.....but you will need a Sandwich, a biscuit and a cup of T to find them.
