All-new petrol Nortons on the way?

Saw an online article explaining why Nortons are not currently for sale in the US ie being non-Euro 5, and only sold in the UK under the Motorcycle Single Vehicle Approval registrations. Indeed, the factory website for the bikes states “Only available for sale in the UK”. But what caught my eye further down in this article

https://www.topspeed.com/why-you-cant-buy-norton-motorcycles-in-the-usa/

 was the following:

“Norton Is Also Working On A New Motorcycle Lineup

To meet its global goals, Norton is preparing an entirely new motorcycle lineup. These are said to be different from the current lineup of Nortons, armed with a new internal combustion engine that meets international norms.”

So are we going to see a new bike with Norton on the tank and still powered by polar-bear killing petrol? I hope so!

I would guess almost certainly, as that is what sells now. There have been strong hints about electric also, but not exclusively.
