650ss brake pedal/spring issue

Forums

Good evening,

The brake pedal of my 1967 650ss was fitted without the spring and the pedal #19994 did not return. So i ordered a new spring. Then i noticed that there is no hole for the marked end of the spring (see attached picture). Do i have the wrong pedal? Can someone show me the exact position of the hole? Then i would try to drill it.

best regards

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

have you double checked around the inside face of the pedal with a sharp scriber to ensure that the hole isn't full of congealed grease/dirt.

The fixed spring stop can be positioned wrong which would get you looking in the wrong place for the lever hole.Bet its in there somewhere, unless you have an Indian copy!
