1957 ES2 horn location

Would somebody be able to advise the correct type and mounting location of the horn for a 1957 ES2, there is a bracket on the left frame rail below the seat and I suspect it may mount there. any help or a picture will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Alan,I think my '57 Model 77 uses the same arrangement for the horn. I have included photos. If the don't show, contact me directly & i'll send them to you.

Excellent, now I know where to stick it, as the Bishop said to the actress, when the time comes. Thanks for the pics, Skip and the question, Alan. Mine will be an odd one out with a black frame!

Hope the NOC spares scheme are taking note of pre F/beds in the build!

You are not alone somebody has painted this one red probably with house paint its black underneath and will end up being black and silver again.

I hate to throw a spanner in the works but my 1957 ES2 has the horn mounted on the front engine mounting plates so that it sits between the engine and the front frame downtube. I'm not saying that's where it should be but it looks OK to me.................Chris
