16h Compression plug

Hi,

Does any one have either a spare cylinder headcompression plug or know the thread size ?

I think you are right Iain, 18mm 1.5 pitch. I tried it on my 16H cutaway engine but that means nothing. Mr P is the man!

PS: Got that Commando running, Iain?

Gary... I just took the blanking screw out of my spare engine and an 18mm spark plug goes straight back in.

So if you are missing the screw a stopgap measure would be to use a spare plug. ...as long as it does not hit the piston at TDC.

Thanks for the replies all,

The barrel and head are away being re-bored and skimmed so I couldn't check but kind of assumed they were the same. I was hoping to get a replacement before they are returned so I wouldn't have to wait to fire her up!
