Help needed ES2 plunger 1951 engine plates

Forums

Can anyone email me pictures of the engine & gear box plates to allow me to identify what they look like if plates come up on ebay etc.

I recently bought my bike without engine or gearbox so i have no idea what they look like.

Thanks, Johnny

Hope you have better luck than I have had to date over the last seven years with regard to missing 1957 Model 50 engine plates (Pre F/bed)

Merry Christmas...If you are reading this Santa? Ho Ho flipping Ho.

Should that read No No er, you'll be lucky?

Hi Johnny

Looks like Graham has beaten me to it but I'm going to be taking my '51 ES2 engine out over the weekend so can take some pictures if you get stuck.

Hi Adam, yes I got your photo's, many thanks. I thought I'd get others to do the same, just for different picitures and the more the merrier!

Thanks again, from Johnny

Once you have the details, including correct dimensions, it should be no problem to get plates cut to pattern. There are plenty of workshops with laser cutting equipment.

Hello Jonny, I posted a similar request a few weeks ago, I have an es2 frame (single down tube pre featherbed) I don't know if the plunger plates are the same, but could you forward the photos you have of the engine gearbox plates to me, if it's not too much trouble.

my email is ian.visualeyes@gmail.com

i would aprieciate any help. There have been plates recently on ebay, but they vary in shape.

regards, Ian.
