No more Branch Meetings for the next 6 months?

Hello Now with this covid -19 and tougher measures  in place  there will be no more branch meetings now for six months  all shows  and rides out cancelled   you and your Norton are now in lockdown  so the best thing is to drain the oil and fuel tanks  and put a dust cover over your bikes  or do your maintenance  or rebuilds now,  some my just polish their bikes  but that it for now until this is all over with but do keep up with  drinking vitium C lots of it,  that will help to keep you all in good shape and eat well  with lots of greens and veg and fruits  is a bummer but we will get through this  so stay safe  yours anna j

Just 10 days ago I filled my bike with Super. Must drain it and put it in the car I think. The top grade stuff leaves brown residues, unlike the ordinary stuff. I'm sure it will block the carb.

You can do like I do - use the bike to go and do the essential journeys, like shopping! You can't carry as much on a bike as in the car, so that means more rides on empty roads.

And what better way to self isolate than on a bike!

Some countries are providing certificates to those who test positive with antibody testing - which means they've had COVID-19 and are now immune. In Germany for example, this allows them to carry on without lockdowns. I can't see that HMG will be able to hold out against doing something similar before too long. We don't know, but I'd like to think that 6 months could be a bit pessimistic?

Main shop every 2 weeks in the car & trip to farm shop on 2 wheels every other week, tho' easier on the Guzzi cos it has cavernous panniers; vehicles need to be used!
