Does anyone know how heavy an SF Mk1 is. Can't find it in the manual nor factory website. I need to buy a bike lift and might buy on that copes with the 961 and older commando.
Thanks

An American magazine who tested one recently dispute that weight figure. If I remember rightly they say they actually weigh 485lb. That may be wet weight, i.e. with oil and water, and maybe a gallon of petrol. That would not make up the difference, however.
The road test is on here somewhere, added recently, but I can't find it. I am sure someone will point you in the right direction.

I have found it, in the thread entitled '961 Agenda'. I can't do a link to it... It states the weight with empty tank 490lbs, full tank 517lbs; so, unless their scales are out of calibration, there you have it.

Weighed mine, today, with full tank and got 515 Lbs, so close enough.
Triumph 1200 Thruxton came in at 491 on the same scale.
