Afternoon all.
I don't suppose anybody has an original brake lever combination bracket hanging around I could buy Orginal 7/8 size.
The brake lever and air valve sits together on this bracket.

This would have been the standard civilian model lever post from the change to 7/8" bars in 1937 up until the outbreak of war. They were quite fragile and are scarce. WD bikes continued with 1" bars and had a more robust-looking clamp but they broke too.
These were almost certainly made by Doherty but Norton seem to have preferred them without a maker's name on.
I think in all honesty, you're just going to have to use whatever you can find and keep scouring jumbles or eBay. Bowden posts look slightly similar, Amal less so.
