No spark ES2
Hi, I'm a new member ( my dad was a member 35 years ago, but sadly he has passed away now)
My dad and I both have 1954 ES2 Nortons but he did all the tinkering with both our bikes so I don't have a lot of knowledge on the ES2 workings.

Fitting a Tri-Spark MRK-0001 to my Dommi 88 . I have no wiring on the new build at present and wondered what is the best connection to use Negative or Positive ? Is there a preference ?
So today I lost the bakelite knob. It's not the first time.
Has anyone been enterprising and changed it for a decent key switch off, on, on with pilot, on with main. Any that can be recommended?
Royal Enfield Bullet alternators look very like the unencapsulated Lucas ones on Nortons. Would one fit? They are cheap and certainly effective - the one on my 1998 Bullet works a treat.
I am restoring my 1972 Commando Interstate & need help with the wiring. I am clueless with electrical items. Is there anybody in my area (Coalville) who would be willing to rewire my bike or suggest someone who could.
Here's a strange one. I've soldered together a magneto timing light with a 3,5 mm audio jack for a headphone and an NE555 IC in it that generates the sound. Naming that component indicates I know about this stuff, but I don't really...
I was looking a spare to replace the Cam ring in my auto-advance magneto to rebuild it.
Anyone can address me to good source of spares?

"People say" spark plug polarity is important. But:
1) Why? If the spark is at say 10,000 volts, why should adding or subtracting 12 volts matter?
