Either a scam or a bargain for someone?

Unlike the general scam entries, it doesn't have a mobile phone number in the body of the text. Worth a look?

I agree that the photo and description just do not look right. But how did they get a well used profile to post the advert? Can user's profiles get hijacked?

Although I have no idea how.

I have reported the second one (and a clone of it) as I always do when I come across them. To give ebay their due they generally disappear fairly promptly.

I would be interested to see if the first one is genuine however.

Hello  AS I am a frequent    veuer of Ebay  this machine in question has been on there for some time now and I believe   the same machine was sold some time back from Reney and sons of Sheffield

but whether  this is a scam or not  we have no idea but to me it looks suspect   and caution should be taken  in this case,     best to contact ebay they will know  , but what is more concerning   is the Norton parts posted on ebay  that looks like a machine has been broken up  and part to be sold on weather   these are part from a stolen machine or not begs the case, so do some research  and  find out what your buying   be careful out there   Ps also on Ebay Vintage Motorcycle parts  you find a UNIFIED TWIN  CYLINDER HEAD  in bear condition  listed as new old stock Q?                      yours

Are you talking about the first (post war) one which I'm unsure about or the second (pre-war) which is definitely a scam and which I have reported (it was actually appearing in 2 separate ads which is always a giveaway - unlike the bike!).

Both ads for the second one have now disappeared following my report. Thanks to ebay for prompt action.

Yes this ebay sellers account has been hacked by probably Rumanian crooks. I am a member of EVSA E bay Vehicle Scam Alerts there are over 4000 items for sale on this sellers account and all at stupidly low prices. I am gong to report this 1 to ebay now so that all listings for the rest will disappear as well , hopefully no one has parted with money for any of these items yet.
