Security

Have ridden the new Sport a few times now and find it a little heavy and not as manoeuverable as my last rotary but I am sure this is me bedding in to the bike and I have not ridden for a few years. I may however buy a cricket box as I still have not got used to the marvelous front and rear brakes, ouch!

How do I protect the rear of the tank from riding gear?

I think I remember someone mentioning trouble with an immobiliser upsetting running so I may not go down that road so I am thinking of data tagging. What have others done. Already have my chain anchor and disc lock.

Regarding Anna Dickson's photo of 961 pistons elsaewhere; Anna I may not have you knowledge of engines, OK the crowns are black but it's difficult to say from the pics if this is due to oil or unburnt fuel? Also the pistons and rings seem to be doing their job, the discolouration down to the top ring is normal on any engine and the thrust surfaces seem nice and clean suggesting the rings are keeping products of combustion inside the combustion chambers.

Thanks Roger
