Yes Peter I tried that and it doesn’t come up with anything,

hopefully Newark will come good on Sunday.

Leightons will make you seat, mudguards are hard to find, but remember some parts are shared with the FB Cruiser which may give you another option. Cables are easy to get from the club and Venhills etc, or buy a kit and make your own. Levers and throttle etc are easy unless you are looking for a concours restoration. I think then club did a rear light unit but can’t recall.

Good luck hunting, sometimes you strike lucky, otherwise keep an eye out on eBay and put a wanted add in the classified section.

Dan

That’s helped a lot Dan thanks, I’ll get in touch with Leightons about the seat and get looking for the other parts, like you say I might drop on at Newark .

I bought a seat and a complete exhaust system from 'Bantam John' at his shop in Derbyshire. The seat base is a bit weak and needs the brackets strengthening but the exhaust system is fine. John is a bit eccentric so visiting the shop is best.

I will try them Dennis, It a shame Bantam John has retired he sounds like someone Id like to meet,

Thanks for the contact, By the way I still have not got the bike firing and my knee is giving me some jip kick starting it so I am looking into getting a rolling starter once I have got a chain but at least i have got a spark now which I am happy with.

i have to agree with Dan. My Jubilee is fitted with a Pazon system and that has transformed starting. Set up was a bit of a pfaff having to check the timing with a disc and then strobe but once set it was fit and forget. Starts first kick with a carb tickle and a bit of choke.
