Hello, can anyone help with this one. Stripping the paint from my 58 Dominator petrol tank I have found tapped holes in the knee area, these must be for knee pads but I was not aware they where fitted to Dominators. Have I got the wrong tank? If not do the pads screw directly to the tank or is there a bracket to hold pads on? And finally are these parts available? Any help much appreciated.
Holes are for panels
As Anna says, chromed tank panels were fixed to the tank. They have two screws to hold them on plus two small screws for the round badges (See the NOC shop for all of these) Knee pads are stick-on for all years from at least 1955 to 1959 (I had bikes from both years)

Hello normally on the 1958 model there is a chrome panels fitted to the tank and the knee pads fit too this where as the 1952to1955 models have a the knee pads glued too the tank YOURS Anna J
