Heavy Twin and Commando rear springs come in a variety of ratings. These are colour coded for identification
The colour codes are painted on the springs in a series of three bars for the full length of the spring.
For the average weight rider, the following are recommended:-

90 lb. springs for the Atlas when racing

110lb. springs for Atlas road work

70/100 lb. dual rate springs for Commando racing

110 lb. springs for Commando road work
