Modern Nortons

Hi All, I've just joined as a fully paid up member 5 mins ago. Looking forward to meeting up with members and attending some events such as the Spanish 5000 bends last year!! Just to say I have a silver cafe racer purchased last year in May.

Has anyone fitted de-cat exhausts to their 961 or removed the cat from the exhaust? I was told some time ago that a version would be available from the factory but I guess they have other more important issues to deal with at the moment.

Hello, I have been thinking for some months about putting a deposit on a new 961 NortonCommando. I have had several "new" Triumphs the best of which was the new Bonny and had one of the best of the old Triumphs a TSX.

Ok here comes a Technical question or two and not the usual where's my 961 so hopefully I will be safe from the thread snipper.

Hi Does anyone think the gear change on the 961 is of a poor design, the external link seems a compromise considering the angles involved?Is this technical enough ? - only jokingMathew
