I have taken my Dominator to the following company who specialise in Ohlins products. Their service was second to none and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The suspension on my bike is now as good as it gets. It smooths out the bumps and runs exactly where I put it.
They do not only do modern bikes as there was a 1952 BSA in at the same time having the forks etc rebuilt.
For my bike they did a ride in ride out service. They spent time explaining what they were doing and why and provided a base setting for my bike in the future should I need it.

I would like to know what they did on your bike - and what it cost.... My guess is that they fitted a cartridge damper in place of the Norton one, and a spring above.

It is a ride in ride out service and they spend as much time as is needed. It is fixed at £40 plus VAT for the service. My Dominator is a 2015 model and fitted with Ohlins suspension so for mine it was merely a case of adjusting what I have rather than upgrading or replacing. The rear shock on my bike is specified for a Yamaha R1 and the front is one of their generic models which fit all. The level of adjustment on mine baffles me and thats why I took it there. I would far rather have someone who knew what I wanted done and knew exactly how to get it there than me ham fistedly running through the options. I know my limitations, which is just as well as I thought my bike was set up too harsh at the front whilst the reverse was true. I rode the bike to the South Coast this weekend over both days and the changes made a significant improvement in ride quality.
