Sturmey Archer sprocket nut

Forums

My sprocket nut on my 31 model 20 is being stubborn and refuses to come of.Even with it smoking hot it barley moves.

Before I cut it off does anyone sell a replacement. I've had no luck so far trying to find one.

No experience with Nortons of this vintage but the later gearbox sprockets have left hand threads. Could this be the same? My apologies if you are already aware of this.

The 3 Speed SA box on my 1928 CS1 has a left hand thread as well so thereâs a fair chance yours will be the same.
