Afternoon. A lovely ride over the Blackdowns yesterday, but along the way lost one of the bolts holding the rear stand on (1947 M18). Can't see one on the shop ..... Might be wrong though. Any thoughts on where to get one, or what to ask for if i need to get one made up, gratefully received. Ta.

Thanks Mike. You reckon centre stand and rear stand bolts (47 M18) might be the same thing? I'll take a closer look.

Philip,
The 1948 parts book lists the Rear Stand Bolt as E3818, which probably won't help you much. However I think itmay bethe same as on WD 16Hs which was part no. 9613 and that was 7/16" x 1+ 5/16" x 20 tpi, only the end bit threaded to fit the tapped hole in the frame.A thinned locking not helps to keep it there - don't ask how I know !
