I've had this rotating magnet magneto sat in a drawer for the last 30 something years and I'm thinking of using it for my latest Atlas based project. I seem to remember being told by the seller that it was off a racing dominator but I've never seen any evidence that this was actually the case.
It's very similar to the SR2 magneto that was fitted to the Royal Enfield Constellation, but differs with the distributor, which has a screw on end cap and it operates anticlockwise.
It has a cracking spark if you forgive the pun and I will use it, but I'd like to know something about it's history. Does anybody recognise it?
