For all those who, like me, had no idea there was this level of variety in MO1L cams, and weren't following my earlier thread, here is a photo of the two cams side by side for comparison.
If you have a rough running single it may just be that you have the wrong cam in your mag! Who would have known?
Always something new to learn.

I work with my dad overhauling magnetos and thought you might find this page on our website interesting. The bottom picture really shows just how confusing the problem can be. Not entirely uncommon for us to have to search through the box of cams and try a couple to get one that fits and works properly.
