Hello again
I'd like to know what item number 6 is on the attached. When I found this on my own bike it looked like a sheared off bolt, i.e. no visible head. Is it just a grubscrew? What sort of head should it have?

It should just be a slotte…
It should just be a slotted grub screw and the casing is normally peened into the slot on both sides to ensure that it can't come undone.
The gallery is a left-over from the machining operation and the screw shouldn't really need removing (unless perhaps the cases have been blasted, for normal cleaning it's not necessary).

Pretty sure it's a socket head oil way grub screw. The hexagon socket is possibly full of dirt.
