New bulbs for the 7

Forums

So the load on the charging system on my model 7 seemed a bit high, even though connections, wiring etc. is fine and the dynamo is renovated (+ electronic charging relay).

So I've ordered a P36D (BPF) for the front (I know LED bulbs are not allowed for the primary light, but it's better than low/no light).

A BA15S 8-led for the stop/back light.

And a BA9S 1-led for the pilot light (which were missing altogether on the bike)

The gain is going from 41W load (w/o brake light) to 4.8W. All the bulbs have built-in resistors thus being plug-and-play. The front bulb is the nasty one pricewise though at 37 £

Niels, are you suggesting £37 GBP for a bulb? For £20 you can buy a spare gel battery for those longer rides with night riding.

Nope, for a lot of bulbs. And I like to know that the bikes own charging system can handle the lights
