Having recently aquired a Manx Norton I am in the process of bringing it up to standard.
I have had to remove the Racing Magneto and found it to have an electronic conversion.
My problem is knowing how to re time the engine. can anybody help please.

Hi Phil, do you have any idea who manufactured the conversion? Is there a "trigger unit", replacing points & slip ring, with a rotor driven by the original armature? If so, it may be similar to the "Thorspark" unit I have just purchased. In that case I could scan the fitting, and timing, instructions, and e-mail them to you.
