It wasn't working earlier in the week but fine now. Why not address your question to the webmaster rather than complaining here?

they informed us that there was a problem with log in . then they informed us that the problem was resolved. indicating it might be something to do with the direct debit side of things. all sorted. that seems ok to me.
unless they have another Norton club running in a parallel universe within inner earth thats causing problems i wouldn't know.

As far as I am aware, the log-in problem lasted less than 24 hours. Once alerted, it was soon fixed. Anemail was sent to members (who had reported the fault) explaining what had happened. Although I strongly disagree with some of the E.C,?s policies, in this case, action was taken promptly, and efficiently. Well done!

I havn't had cause to use the forum for some considerable time however I now have to 'log in' on each visit, I don't recall I had to do so before, could be wrong of course, is there a way to stay logged in for any period or has this now stopped perhaps because of the new Data business? kind regards

I have always had to log in, each time I visit the site. However, my desk top, and tablet, now remember my user name, and password. A few years back, they used to have to be typed in, on every visit.

It's usually a browser setting (eg cookies) that keeps you logged in, remembers login details etc. Once logged in I remain logged in for the day then have to log in again the next day which suits me fine. Firefox on Windows 10, retaining cookies and remembering login details.
What is odd is that when I log in I'm presented with 2 versions of my name - one capitalised, one lower case (both seem to work). I suspect one is when I registered for the forum before I joined the NOC.

I think the only logical answer is, as you say Anna, CIA involvement.
