Is your cork dried out & leaking?

They are easy to repair...

1) Tap (pun intended...) in "Petrol Tap Corks" into ebay - and both plungers & corks are readily available. Buy a few corks - so you can practice.

2) Cut away the old cork, and make sure the area is clean of all old cork

3) Take a new cork, and with a razor, scalpel or (sharp) craft knife, slit the new cork lengthways (along the hole, NOT across it) - one side only.

4) Steam the new cork or a few seconds in front of a boiling kennel, to make the cork soft & pliable, open the slit, place the cork on the plunger, and insert it into the tap.

Job done!

Remember - nice clean cut - hence a razor. scalpel or similar & steam to make it pliable.
