The brake pedal on my '61…
The brake pedal on my '61 Model 50 Slimline measures 13.5" from the center of the pivot to the forward edge of the pedal.

Not the easiest thing to get to as its wedged into a small space but 345mm has got to be close, made in Birmingham part for a 59/60 (probably by Shelleys who did much of Nortons work) for the slimline frame ,later bikes after 63 may be different as production moved to AMC Woolwich. I don't count these as "proper Nortons"!!!!.If yours is shorter its likely to have been done to suit a more "cafe" riding position.
