Hi, Could someone please help. I want to take out the wheel bearings to check them over, there is a capon one end that looks like a seal holder, do I prise that off ?or is there a better way, Cheers.

Yes on the brake side there is a cup over a felt seal. Yes you have to carefully lever it off. They are available from Russell Motors London, if it gets too damaged.
