Hello,
my interpol2 is a being difficult, it ticks over lovely, and when stood will accelerate to high revs smoothly, but when ridden at low revs it hunts then accelerates fine to 4500 revs but no further this gives about 50mph and drops as it climbs hills. The effect seems like fuel restiction.
I've changed from ASBO exhausts to standard and set the carbs up as per the book after cleaning them, would the change of carbs require a different set up or is it a bit more basic, your thoughts and advise gratefully received.

4500RPM should give you ab…
4500RPM should give you about 70 MPH depending on gearbox and gearwheel sprocket size. If you have one of those plastic in line fuel filters fitted they often distort with the heat and close up. There is a filter in the petrol tap so the inline filter is superfluous. Ensure you are getting adequate fuel flow by sucking on the vacuum pipe to the tap with the carb fuel pipe disconnected.

thanks for your help and comments, I've been out for a ride and the resetting of the inlet joints has done the trick, it flew, first time I've really felt the bike perform and its great, roll on the summer lets get out there.
