Look OK to me. Have you tried trying to turn the centre against the mainshaft with a C spanner or similar to get an idea of how much resistance there is?

I'd leave well alone, George - they look fine.
If that small one at the top is actually bulging out slightly (it might be a trick of the light) I might take a craft knife and slice off the excess just in case it tends to jam against the end plate.
When mine were gone, it was obvious - they were turninginto a filthy black mess.
