Hello all,
I've replated (cadmium) the original butted spokes for my 1948 International, and plan to reinstall with the original nipples. Unfortunately, 3 of these have gone missing - either I lost them, or they were spirited away by packrats, crows or criminals.
No problem getting new ones, of course, but they won't look identical and I understand the threads are idiosyncratic - so new nipples may not fit old spokes.
Might anyone have a few original nipples to sell, left over from a replacement?
They're listed as A2/431, same for models 30,40,16H,ES2 and probably a lot of other Nortons. The spoke is 10ga. / .125" diameter; nipple is .250" diameter and .67" long overall.

Hello, I have some used nipples from a 16H wheel if you not find any closer to you. If I get your address I can put some in a letter and send to you.
