Saw this photo on the NOG webpage. Is anyone aware if this silencer is available now even as a repop?

Catalogued for the entire 1938 range, I seem to recall an indication that in fact it was not fitted for the full catalogue year as it was so unpopular. 1938 frames appear to have taller pillion footrest lugs which may be necessary for these cans.

They were listed in left- and right-hand versions for the twin ports and , in accordance with Norton practice would have been fitted at high level on both sides if the customer paid the extra £5 for Trials Specification on his twin-port model.

I would love to ride behind a twin port trials model with those four tailpipes up high....it must be quite a sight.
