Progress with my carb set up.

Hi All

Thanks to everybody who has tried to put me on the right track with the information I left previously. Now the update.

On closer inspection my 850 Mk1 has a single carb conversion with the following Amal MK 11 carb =

2934 series/ L301

Pilot jet = 15

Needle = 2A1 Needle jet = 107 Needle groove 2 from top

Throttle Slide = 2928 No 3 cutaway

Main Jet = 376/100

Hope this makes sense as thiscarb was on when I bought it.

Hi Malcolm,

I think you might need a bigger main jet, I'm sure I had success with a 280 or 290 and a chrome slide 3.5 cutaway though you may find the 3 okay. (The chrome prevents slide hang up).
