Does anyone know what thread the Bars are tapped to recieve the dip switch. My eyes are not good enough to check the thread form. Probably a BA thread?.

I agree with the 4BA sugge…
I agree with the 4BA suggestion.
My 1960s catalogue suggests part number 18734.
The later 1967 catalogue says pn 021299 & states switch screws 4BA also used to hold fork shroud in place. Norvil sell these but I would suggest a good model shop would be cheaper if you need nuts & washers.

I think you are probably right,although impatient Anne (me) has tapped them with whatever was in the tool box (1/8th Whit) .Not that it matters, I've just come back from a trial run with the new straight bars and the worked on brake.Awfull, Steering much heavier, wrist pump from the flat lever position and a soggy brake. I will have to find some standard low rise bars and start again.At least it goes well now.

Almost certainly BA - probably 4 BA. Hazy memory of rusty screw holes on discarded handlebars.
