Can somebody tell me whatthe free length of the front fork spring/s are for 1948 through to 1952, solo riding.The main spring and the shorter one. Also the overall length of the one piece springs which I believe were in the later '50's forks, solo riding. I think the same springs were fitted to the singles also.

23.312" refers to the stanchion length of course!

Assuming that you have a Model 7 (with long roadholders - 23.312" long) then Roy Bacon lists the springs as 11.781" in length (P/No 18809)
