Crankcase Paint

 I have used Motip VHT aerosol, it’s supposed to be good up to 800 degrees. I do crankcases and heads inside and out (inside rockerbox) as it helps seal porosity but you do need to bake it in an oven to harden it as per the instructions, it’s no use thinking it will get baked on in use as the crankcases won’t get hot enough and you will already of ruined the finish handling it assembling the engine while still soft. Also if not baked on it tends to wash off with bike cleaning products so no point in trying to short cut. Works for me.
